The owner’s only regret? They never set a BitLocker PIN. What is a BitLocker PIN and why should I use it? A BitLocker PIN is a short numeric password you type every time the computer boots. It works alongside the TPM (Trusted Platform Module) to stop anyone who steals the device from decrypting the drive, even if they can bypass the BIOS password.
